OH MY GOD (literally...)

For those of you who actually KNOW me, you know that my "religious views" on every online profile say two words: Trent Reznor.

This is because that man drives me crazy. Every time I hear him I get that feeling... you know... the feeling that can only be described as a religious experience.

Anyways... During my daily check of nin.com last night... there was post that said "2 weeks." Hmm... Too bad don't listen to the radio, or I would have heard the simultaneous release of a new NINE INCH NAILS TRACK!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! So I continued on with my life... and this morning (during another check), I was freaking ecstatic to find the single on the site... a free download too!!! I mean, really... can this guy get any better?

And then... I listened to the track. And... HOLY SHIT. "Discipline" might just be the sexiest song I've ever heard. EVER.

I can't stop dancing around to it. I'm not kidding... I've had it on repeat for a while now.

The vocals on this track are AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING.

And wait... could "2 weeks" mean a new album in 2 weeks??!?!?!?! Cause I might have a heart attack. God, I can't wait to see the band in August.

Don't waste anymore of your time reading this post. Go download your free copy... just be warned: you might be in the mood for some quality make-out time after a listen. :)

Movies: Youth Without Youth

So I saw this movie a while ago (sometime in March), but I've been busy and haven't had a chance to write up a review.

The first thing you need to know about this movie: THIS IS A FRANCIS FORD COPPOLA MOVIE. So if you are one of those "I hate long movies" or "I don't want movies with substance, I just want to be entertained" people... you probably shouldn't see this movie.

This film runs about 2.2 hours... which really isn't that long. It's also a movie about the idea of romance and destiny and therefore doesn't feature too much action/comedy/mediocre crap. Oh, and it doesn't have very much of that CGI mess that people seem to like. It's a FILM... the way movies were meant to be made.
So the plot:
Europe during the Nazi invasion/WWII. There's this guy... he's old and sad and really just wants his life to be over. An accident befalls him (I won't tell you what), and suddenly- he's young again. Only... not totally young. See... he's still stuck in the current time and his mind is still old and he still has all his memories, but his body has jumped back a good 30 years or so.
So basically, you (as the slightly confused/totally intrigued viewer) get to go on this crazy psychological journey regarding philosophy and reality and romance and depression and all kinds of deep things.
I, honestly, REALLY enjoyed this film. It's refreshing to see someone making a movie without huge Hollywood names (the only "star" in this movie is Tim Roth and not too many people know who he is). It's a crazy movie with some crazy ideas... but it's solid. And thought-provoking.

The Good: Cool ideas and really interesting. See above... I think I covered it. You'll just have to see it to understand.

The Bad: Can be confusing... there's a lot going on in the movie. Not the happy ending the viewers want for the nice old man.

So yeah... I would totally recommend this film to people who are willing to sit down and watch a movie that doesn't involve everything blowing up and lots of sex. It's a real movie... give it a chance.

My rating: A-

Daydreaming...

Yeah, yeah... I know I haven't posted anything in a while... I've been busy with school and work and sickness and my new godbaby and figuring out law school stuff... etc...

Anyways...

So Lamborghini of Las Vegas (quite possibly the BEST car dealership in the world) has a Veyron sitting in their showroom right now. Why didn't they have one the four times I went there this past year?!?! It really isn't fair that I could be Bugatti's (the entire empire's) biggest fan... and I still haven't got to see a Veyron in person. Seriously, I feel like I'm deprived of a piece of my existence. I've got to see some amazing old-school Bugattis... but I really feel like it's essential for me to meet a Veyron. Anyone who knows me knows I've been talking about Bugattis for years (thanks to my D-A-D and those car shows) and I REALLY REALLY REALLY like a chance to spend some time with that beautiful creature.

In other Bugatti news...

Take a look at this: http://www.racepower.de/bugatti/. Pretty sweet stuff. If someone would buy me that jacket or the weekend bag... I would be forever grateful. The easiest way to my heart is through my obsessions. ;)

So yeah... I'm going to continue to drool over the selection of sexy cars on the Lambo Las Vegas site... and you should take a look at some of these fine vehicles.
PS- The pictures posted are
